We are very excited for the step you have taken. Ecole Talmidim's purpose is to perpetuate the knowledge of the Word of God and understanding of the Holy Spirit in the life of every Talmud (Disciple). Since every believer is called to ministry, Ecole Talmidim will be a place of equipping. Our students will graduate equipped to walk by faith, be led by the Holy Spirit, live victoriously and teach others to do the same, become true Talmidim (Disciples) of Jesus Christ.

You can rest assured that you will be in the hands of a leadership team that brings the simplicity of the Word of God and the revelation of grace into every classroom. They themselves have studied to show themselves approved unto God and they are able to teach the Word by the Spirit in a powerful and practical way. Students can expect to receive the Truth of the Word from faculty and staff who purpose in their hearts every day to live out everything they teach and be "doers" of the Word and not just "hearers."

The main textbook we teach from is the Bible, the Word of God. It is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow.  It exposes the innermost thoughts and desires, no other textbook matches up to it. Any other materials used will be carefully selected and approved by our leadership team before it even sees the classroom.  As the foundational book, Scripture is the only infallible rule for faith. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, (Proverbs 9:10). The Holy Spirit is the great teacher who can make Christian education effective. For the instructor, to impart wisdom is a gift from God. For the student’s heart to be opened to God’s Truth, a change of heart is required.

 

What Does Ecole Talmidim Expect from the Student

 

Faith, because without it, it is impossible to please God, (Hebrews 11:6). We expect diligence from every student as well.  Proverbs 13:4 says "The soul of a lazy man desires and has nothing, but the soul of the diligent shall be made rich." If you are reading this and you are already a Born-Again believer, you have a measure of faith in you and faith is a choice. The same way you entered the Kingdom of God, is the same way God expects you to live throughout your time on the earth and when we leave this earth....by faith. If you are reading this and you have not yet made the decision to make Jesus your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to come, sit in our "What is Salvation" class and allow the Holy Spirit to speak to your heart the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ so that then you can choose whom you will serve.

 

Everything God calls you to do by faith, you must "add to your faith," (2 Peter 1:5). Faith never works alone, it is not isolated. So what are you adding to your faith? Virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness and to brotherly kindness, love. If all these things abound in your life, you will never be unfruitful in the the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and you will be ready for good works and fruit that remains. 

 

The fact that you took a step to come on this website to see what Ecole Talmidim is about, is an act and work of faith on your part. This is all we ask of you to take a step of faith and be diligent in everything God calls you to do.
