Jesus in Matthew 24 gave us signs of the times....Jesus spoke more of HELL than He did LOVE...By today's view, He would have been called a doom and gloom preacher! There are people who say "You only die once," and they are right, we only "die once," so make your calling and election SURE as it says in 2 Peter 1:10-11.
Jesus also said in Matthew 7:21 "Not every one that says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven." Our "good works" as a believer or unbeliever does not get us into heaven. It is only believing in the Lord Jesus Christ and living a holy life submitted to Him that gets us into heaven.
There are people who say "you only live once." They are wrong, we don't only "live once." There are those of us who will live forever in the Kingdom of God with our Lord Jesus Christ. Repent, believe the Gospel and be saved!
Many people today are living just like it says in Matthew 24:37-39, "For it will be like it was in the days of Noah when the Son of Man appears. Before the flood, people lived their lives eating, drinking, marrying, and having children. They didn’t realize the end was near until Noah entered the ark, and then suddenly, the flood came and took them all away in judgment. It will happen the same way when the Son of Man appears."
The born-again Christian has nothing to fear, we have an understanding of how all this will end....We are just waiting to hear the trumpet. These are just birth pains we are experiencing as Jesus said in Matthew 24:8. But until that trumpet sounds, we continue to do what we've been called to do....TEACH, PREACH, HEAL the sick and CAST OUT DEMONS!
JESUS is the ONLY WAY!!!!!
